The Sign Painter – a layered type system with a lot of decor stuff.

Inspired by Victorian era signs of IX and XX century. Traditional sans with moonlike script are cool pair to give you really vintage touch, especially with Decoration, which one you find inside. Simple layered system give you easy way to get really cool result. You will get many variations of your inscription with layered system (PDF “How To Use” instruction inside).

The Sign Painter script has stylistic alternate with swashes for each letter (Initial, Middle and Final) so you can have swashes for any length of your inscription.

Nearly 2 years in the making, LHF Black Rose Script is the perfect blend of hand-lettering and modern technology. This beautiful script is loaded with features, such as automatic ligatures, discretionary ligatures, bonus ending characters, swashes, and several alternates (302 glyphs to be exact).

You receive 3 versatile fonts to match different moods: Regular, Block Shadow (placed under Regular), and an expertly-crafted Inked version which has been distressed to look like freshly inked lettering.

LHF Mastercraft is one of the most versatile fonts you'll ever use. From its fanciful decorative caps to the easy to read lowercase letters, we're certain you'll find many uses for this unusual set. This style came directly from Chuck’s own pencil sketches and hearken back to a day when the masterfully executed classic roman letter was the mark of every skilled veteran. Mastercraft 2 contains decorative caps that are complimentary and not overwhelming. Use Mastercraft 1 Rough when you require a more weathered appearance. Experiment with stacking the two different Shadow fonts. Each font contains several alternates and ligatures.

Plener is a type family of layered fonts available in four weights: Light, Regular, Bold and Heavy. The properties of layered fonts are matched with the classical type family structure, which makes Plener specific. The letters have humanist origins, interpreted expressively with short brush strokes separated in layers. These humanist forms keep the text set in Plein Air surprisingly legible. Layer structure allows the user to play with colors and transparency, giving the text more personal feel.
Plener comes in two additional styles, made of layers from the Light and Heavy weight. These new, display styles, named Plener LLH and Plener LHH are separated from the main family.
Also, there is a Plener Initials package. It contains uppercase and lowercase made from six layers. Using transparency and a few colors, the user can get rich and colorful initials.
To make the work easier, we created basic fonts out of merged layers (for every weight and style except for the Initials). We recommend users to set the text using these basic fonts first, then to apply opacity value lower than 100%. When satisfied, copy the text on multiple layers, changing the font to Layer A, B, and C. Apply a unique color to the text on each layer or use the same color but different opacity value.
Plener fonts have the following features: ligatures, oldstyle figures, proportional and tabular lining figures, fractions, etc. Besides, there are fifteen dingbats set as discretionary ligatures.
